Transportation Engineer
Marianna, FL
PECS is currently seeking an Entry / Mid Level Transportation Engineer to join our group in Marianna, FL. This is an excellent career opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to join a team of outstanding professionals. Responsibilities
- Assist in transportation planning studies, reports, and master/action plans
- Assist in traffic analysis, concept development, and traffic operations studies
- Assist with development of support materials for public involvement activities
- Prepare construction plans for transportation projects
- Prepare project-related design documentation
- Perform field data collection and other on-site project support activities
Minimum Qualifications
- 0-5 years of experience in Roadway Design and/or Traffic Engineering
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Working knowledge of CADD
- Familiarity with FDOT design manuals and standards
- Team-oriented with strong capability to work independently
- A strong work ethic with the desire to learn and achieve
- Able to work proficiently on multiple assignments
Preferred Qualifications
- I. or Florida Registered Professional Engineer
- 5+ years experience with FDOT projects
- Working knowledge of Synchro, Agi32, etc.
- Proficient in OpenRoads Designer and 3D Modeling
